Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced a recall for two of its motorcycle models, the H’ness CB350 and its sibling CB350RS. This recall is initiated in response to potential issues with the rear stop light and a separate concern related to the bank angle sensor. The recall process will involve the replacement of affected parts and will be conducted at Honda’s premium BigWing dealerships across India, commencing in the second week of December 2023.

The need for this recall stems from a manufacturing flaw in the rubber parts of the rear stop light switch. Improper processes may lead to the development of cracks in these rubber components, potentially allowing water ingress and causing corrosion inside the switch, leading the light to malfunction. For this issue, bikes manufactured between October 2020 and January 2023 are affected.
