Ather 450 Apex launched in India at Rs. 1.89 lakh(Ex-showroom). The Ather 450 Apex featuring a robust 7kW motor connected to a 3.7kWh battery, this model boasts an impressive top speed of 100kmph and a certified range of 157km. Notably, the 450 Apex surpasses its standard counterpart with a 10kmph higher maximum speed and a quicker 0-40kmph acceleration time of 2.9 seconds, compared to the 450X’s 3.3 seconds.
Ather has incorporated six ride modes into the 450 Apex, including Smart Eco, Eco, Ride, Sport, Warp, and the newly introduced Warp Plus. Enhancing the rider experience, the scooter is equipped with advanced features such as full LED lighting, a seven-inch touchscreen TFT display with smartphone connectivity, auto-brightness adjustment for the dashboard, park assist, hill hold, auto indicator cut-off, coasting regenerative braking, and the innovative Magic Twist. Ather describes Magic Twist as an upgraded version of regenerative braking, allowing riders to come to a complete stop even with a fully charged battery.
In terms of suspension and braking, the Ather 450 Apex rides on telescopic front forks and a monoshock. The braking system includes a 200mm front disc and a 190mm rear disc, both mounted on 12-inch wheels. The scooter provides ample storage with a 22-litre underseat compartment and weighs 111.6kg.
