The engine in the Panigale V4 R can rev up to 16,500 rpm in sixth gear. Even with the new Euro-5 rules, it only loses 3 horsepower, so it still has 218 horsepower at 15,500 rpm. If you use a non-homologated racing exhaust, you can even get up to 237 horsepower.

For the first time on a road bike, they used titanium connecting rods that have holes drilled in them to help with oil flow. This makes the engine more reliable, especially in tough conditions.

The pistons in this bike have a special coating called DLC, which reduces friction and is commonly used in high-performance racing. They’re also lighter, which helps with reliability.

The gear ratios on this bike are the same as those used in World Superbike racing. They made first, second, and sixth gears longer, which means first gear can be used in more corners, giving you better engine braking and acceleration. It also helps with the quick shift system.

Those titanium connecting rods I have holes drilled in them to improve lubrication and reliability.

The engine has special camshafts that allow for higher valve lift. The intake valves are titanium, and the exhaust valves are steel with titanium half-cones, which is something you usually only see in racing engines.

The Panigale V4 R has the same frame and single-sided swingarm as other Ducati Panigale bikes. You can adjust the height of the rear swingarm pivot, which helps with stability and handling.

The rear shock absorber has a hydraulic preload adjuster to make it easier to set up. They also changed the spring for the shock absorber and made some adjustments to the front fork to improve grip and handling.

The bike has a new aluminum tank that can hold 17 liters of fuel. The shape of the tank gives the rider better support when braking and cornering. The seat is flatter, with less foam and a different covering, which allows for more movement and stability.

The aerodynamics of the bike have been improved with new wings that are more compact and thinner but still provide the same amount of downforce.
